Job summary

Berkeley Insurance Group in Lutterworth is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join our expanding team. You'll service small to medium client accounts through renewals, mid-term adjustments, and insurer communications.

The role requires renewal expertise, strong customer service and negotiation skills, and good knowledge of commercial insurance markets. Acturis experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as an Account Handler.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, broking and market awareness.
• Good cross-class commercial insurance knowledge.
• Confident handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and quotations.
• Familiarity with regulations and compliant processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with renewals, mid-term adjustments, and quotations.
• Work closely with account executives on larger cases.
• Build strong relationships with clients and insurers to maximise retention.
• Ensure documentation and systems are accurate.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle new business enquiries and policy language/options as needed.
