Job summary

Authority seeks an experienced commercial insurance consultant to advise on product design, underwriting and market positioning within the UK market. This is an independent engagement focused on pragmatic guidance rather than binding coverage.

You will collaborate remotely from anywhere in the United Kingdom, typically delivering 2–4 paid hours per month with flexible scheduling and no full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant insurance experience.
• Active in or closely involved with the United Kingdom insurance market.
• Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions.
• Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions.
• LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

Authority is developing insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional who is currently active in the United Kingdom to advise us as we develop and improve these offerings.

You will provide practical guidance on customer needs, coverage design, underwriting, pricing, distribution, claims and market positioning. Your advice will help ensure that our insurance offerings reflect how the commercial insurance market actually operates.

• A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience

Engagement details

• Independent consulting contract
• Remote within the United Kingdom
• Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month
