Zusammenfassung

Authority is seeking an experienced specialty insurance adviser to support the development of insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses in the United Kingdom. You will help us understand complex risks, coverage structures, underwriting considerations and the way specialty insurance products are distributed and purchased.

This is an independent consulting contract with remote work within the United Kingdom, approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience.
• Currently operating in or closely involved with the United Kingdom insurance market.
• Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions.
• Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions.
• A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience.

Aufgaben

• Advise on specialty insurance product opportunities and customer needs.
• Cover design, limits, exclusions and policy wording guidance.
• Contribute to underwriting, risk selection and pricing discussions.
• Assess capacity, reinsurance and carrier appetite.
• Guide broker, MGA and specialty-market distribution.
• Identify claims complexity and common coverage gaps.
• Provide competitive positioning insights and emerging market opportunities.

Authority is developing insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for an experienced specialty insurance professional who is currently active in the United Kingdom to advise us as we develop and improve these offerings.

You will help us understand complex risks, customer needs, coverage structures, underwriting considerations and the way specialty insurance products are distributed and purchased.
