Job summary

Howden is expanding its Consumer & Local Commercial team and seeks a Commercial Account Handler. You will build rapport with clients ranging from sole traders to large organisations and work closely with the Branch Manager to meet objectives.

Key tasks include checking client documentation for accurate quoting, maintaining relationships for compliance, supporting renewal retention, and helping candidates progress professionally.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail when reviewing client documentation.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support renewal retention and comply with FCA requirements.
• Willingness to learn and pursue professional qualifications.
• Data processing accuracy on relevant systems.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MD/CEO of large organisations.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.
• Review client documentation to support quoting accuracy and compliance.
• Assist Commercial Account Executives in renewal retention and customer satisfaction.
• Learn and progress your professional qualifications.
• Process data promptly and accurately on systems to support client service and analysis.
