Job summary

Brown & Brown UK in Newbury is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to support Account Executives and manage commercial and corporate risks for prestigious clients. The role involves servicing renewal processes, preparing insurer presentations, and negotiating premiums with underwriters.

You will handle new business and renewals, visit clients, maintain diary, chase documentation, and contribute to client reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in commercial insurance (broking or underwriting).
• Ability to handle new business, renewals and midterm adjustments.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and options.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives to achieve New Business and Renewal targets.
• Manage prospect pipeline and profiling for AE.
• Prepare renewal review reports and quotations for up-sales.
• Broking New Business or Renewals to market with detailed submissions.
• Handle client enquiries with insurers and third parties professionally.
• Maintain diary, chase documentation and renewal terms.
• Liaise with insurers on client insurance needs.
