Job summary

Arkwright Insurance invites applications for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler in Bolton. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients across diverse industries, delivering expert advice and outstanding service throughout the insurance journey.

In collaboration with Account Executives and leading insurers, you will foster long-term relationships, handle renewals and mid-term changes, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining FCA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance and client service.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and broader market.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Experience using insurance broking systems and good IT skills.
• Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business enquiries and policy administration.
• Obtaining competitive quotations and presenting suitable insurance solutions.
• Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Delivering a professional, responsive and proactive customer experience.
• Supporting Account Executives with client retention and business development.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and enhance client cover where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring full FCA compliance.
