Intact Insurance UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive P&L performance across broker panels, leading a team of Senior Trading Underwriters and Underwriters. The role focuses on growth, profitability, retention and portfolio quality, while ensuring underwriting discipline and strong broker engagement.

You will develop broker strategies, lead engagement activities and mentor teams to deliver consistent results.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in Commercial Lines underwriting and broker trading.
• Proven ability to deliver P&L outcomes through broker engagement and portfolio management.
• Strong leadership experience with high-performing teams and performance management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute broker strategies and plans to drive growth and retention.
• Lead broker engagement and build market relationships to enhance our proposition.
• Coach and develop the Commercial Managers and underwriters to maintain underwriting discipline.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve complex trading and underwriting issues and escalate strategic matters as needed.
• Influence stakeholders with data-driven insights and clear communication.
• Maintain consistent operating rhythm across Regions and share best practices.
