Job summary

Sherwoods is looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance across client sites in the South West, with a focus on Cornwall. You’ll operate to Gas Safe standards, manage your day on-site, and contribute to long-term contracts.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial gas qualifications (COCN1 / CODNCO1 / TPCP1 / ICPN1 or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial or maintenance environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive commercial gas maintenance across client sites.
• Fault finding, repairs, and minor installation works.
• Working to a realistic, pre-planned schedule.
• Completing work safely and in line with Gas Safe and industry regulations.
