Job summary

Sherwoods in Somerset and the South West is expanding its commercial gas team across long-term contracts. This on-site role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance at client sites, with realistic schedules and no micromanagement.

You’ll need relevant commercial gas qualifications, a full UK driving licence and a willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Salary up to £45,000, with realistic earnings nearer £53,000 when door-to-door travel is included, plus a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1 / CODNCO1 / TPCP1 / ICPN1 or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial or maintenance environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive commercial gas maintenance across client sites.
• Fault finding, repairs, and minor installation works.
• Working to a realistic, pre-planned schedule.
• Completing work safely and in line with Gas Safe and industry regulations.
