Job summary

Valoris Group Limited currently seeks an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial gas heating systems across a variety of industrial environments in Lancashire. You will diagnose faults, perform remedial work, and assist with commissioning and project tasks while ensuring compliance with gas-safety regulations.

The role involves an on-call rota, keeping documentation up-to-date, and supporting Reactive, Service and Project divisions as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong experience servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing commercial gas heating systems.
• Experience with commercial boilers, burners, heating plant and controls.
• Current Gas Safe registration and relevant commercial gas qualifications.
• Knowledge of gas-safety legislation, regulations and standards.
• Experience across reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and project work.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial gas heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform effective remedial work.
• Commission heating equipment and systems; complete upgrades and project work.
• Produce service reports and certification documents.
• Participate in out-of-hours/on-call rota and support divisions as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
