Job summary

B-engineering Group, based in Warrington head office, is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. You will carry out maintenance, servicing, and commissioning on gas plant and heating systems for a range of clients.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to safety and quality. We offer a competitive salary (£44,000–£47,000), pension, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Experience servicing commercial boilers and gas appliances.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work.
Willingness to undertake overtime.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance on commercial gas appliances, plant, and heating systems.
Complete annual servicing and safety checks in line with Gas Safe standards.
Respond promptly to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
Diagnose faults on boilers, pipework, burners, pumps, and controls.
Install and commission new commercial gas plant, appliances, and systems.
Provide handover demonstrations and clear operational guidance.
Provide clear technical explanations to clients and write reports in CRM/CAFM.
