Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: London (Various London Boroughs)

About the Role:

We are seeking skilled Commercial Gas Engineers passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship in a dynamic environment. This role involves working on commercial heating systems, ensuring high performance, and addressing reactive and planned maintenance needs. It is particularly suited to ex-military individuals, valued for their discipline, leadership, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service, repair, and maintain commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
2. Conduct annual inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
3. Perform installations, including boiler refits and small plumbing works.
4. Collaborate with electrical and BMS teams to troubleshoot system issues.
5. Provide technical support and produce detailed maintenance reports.
6. Ensure compliance with gas safety standards and best practices.
7. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency responses.

Qualifications:

1. Gas Safe Registered.
2. ACS Certifications: CoDNCO1, CIGA1, CCN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1.
3. CORT1, ICPN1 certifications.
4. Knowledge of BMS systems, electrical interlocks, and multi-phase electrical systems.
5. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial heating systems.
