Multi-Trade Technician - Ideal for Ex-Forces Engineers or Technicians
Sussex Area | Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm | Full-Time | Permanent

Are you ex-Army, RAF, or Navy with hands-on engineering experience and a no-nonsense work ethic? Equans is looking for a dependable, skilled Multi-Trade Technician to deliver vital maintenance work across the Southern Water estate.

If you're used to working in fast-paced environments, solving problems under pressure, and taking pride in your work-you'll fit right in.

Mission Overview:
  • Carry out scheduled PPM and fix faults fast to keep sites running

  • Do general maintenance tasks like minor repairs, furniture assembly, and site upkeep

  • Manage health and safety tasks (e.g., Legionella and fire checks)

  • Supervise sub-contractors and keep records up to date

  • Respond to Helpdesk calls with urgency and professionalism

What You'll Need:
  • Background in technical, engineering, or facilities role (ex-military experience welcome)

  • Strong knowledge of H&S and maintenance best practice

  • Confidence working solo and reporting back to regional teams

  • Valid UK driving licence

  • Willingness to get stuck in and lead by example
