Job summary

City Facilities Management is hiring a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to service multiple retail sites across Birmingham, Telford, Shrewsbury and Leominster. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, including boilers, AHUs and FCUs, with occasional installations within your remit.

The role requires NVQ3/HVAC qualification and ACS Commercial Gas credentials, a full driving license, and willingness to join a 24/7 on-call rota.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/HVAC or equivalent.
• A CS Commercial Gas qualifications as a minimum.
• Full driving license and ability to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Service and repair boilers, AHUs, FCUs, fans and pumps.
• Undertake minor alterations and installations within competence.
• Order spares per procedures and assist on-site faults.
• Work on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks) as required.
