Job summary
Daniel Owen Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to cover sites across the Midlands and North West on a permanent basis.
You will service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems on a government contract, with security vetting required. Salary up to £48,000 plus overtime and on-call allowance; van provided.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with travel between sites and a valid UK driving licence essential.
Qualifications
- All relevant Commercial Gas ACS qualifications/tickets are essential.
- Experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer servicing commercial boilers and heating systems.
- Strong fault-finding, servicing and maintenance expertise.
- Understanding of gas safety regulations for commercial sites.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
- Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers and heating systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform remedial works.
- Conduct gas safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts.
- Ensure works comply with gas safety regulations.
- Maintain service records and documentation.
- Travel between government sites across Midlands and North West.
