Job summary

Start Monday is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover Leicester and Northampton, handling servicing, breakdowns and commissioning across commercial and industrial sites. The role offers a competitive package with a van, door-to-door pay, overtime and an on-call rota.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant gas certifications, strong fault-finding skills and a full UK driving licence, enabling independent field work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A, ICPN1 required
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Electrical testing experience and a relevant apprenticeship
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Servicing, breakdowns, repairs and commissioning
• Commercial boilers, forced-draught burners and water heaters
• Warm air, radiant tube heating and gas pipework
• Electrical fault finding and testing
• Some mechanical and building services work
• Paid on-call rota
