Daniel Owen Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to cover sites across the Midlands and North West on a permanent basis.

You will service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems on a government contract, with security vetting required. Salary up to £48,000 plus overtime and on-call allowance; van provided.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with travel between sites and a valid UK driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• All relevant Commercial Gas ACS qualifications/tickets are essential.
• Experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer servicing commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding, servicing and maintenance expertise.
• Understanding of gas safety regulations for commercial sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
• Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform remedial works.
• Conduct gas safety inspections and compliance checks.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts.

Job Description

I am currently working with a growing Facilities Management company who are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join their team, covering sites across the Midlands and North West.

The successful candidate will be working on a large, secure government contract, carrying out gas servicing, maintenance and remedial works across commercial buildings.

Please note: This position requires extensive security vetting due to the nature of the government buildings. Candidates must be willing and able to undergo the required security clearance process.

Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant.

• Diagnosing faults and completing necessary remedial works.

• Carrying out gas safety inspections and compliance checks.

• Responding to breakdowns and emergency callouts.

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current gas safety regulations.

• Maintaining accurate service records and maintenance documentation.

• Travelling between government sites across the Midlands and North West.

Requirements:

• All relevant Commercial Gas ACS qualifications/tickets are essential.

• Previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.

• Strong fault-finding, servicing and maintenance experience.

• Good understanding of commercial heating and gas systems.

• Ability to undergo extensive government security vetting.

• Full UK driving licence.
