Job summary
Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems across sites in the Midlands and North West, on a government contract.
The role requires ACS qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to undergo extensive government security vetting; this is a permanent position within a growing SME offering long-term opportunities.
Qualifications
- Commercial Gas ACS qualifications/tickets are essential.
- Experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Strong fault-finding, servicing and maintenance skills.
- Good understanding of commercial heating and gas systems.
- Willing to undergo extensive government security vetting.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant.
- Diagnosing faults and completing necessary remedial works.
- Carrying out gas safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Responding to breakdowns and emergency callouts.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current gas safety regulations.
- Maintaining accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
- Travelling between government sites across the Midlands and North West.
