Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the Yorkshire/North East region. You will perform day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance on commercial boilers, gas appliances, and plant/machinery for a diverse client base.

The role requires ACS Commercial Gas Tickets, NVQ in Heating & Ventilation, a full driving licence, and residency in the Yorkshire/North East region. Salary ranges up to £50,000 with DOE and benefits.

Qualifications

Commercial Gas Tickets CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1 and CDGA1.
Full UK driving licence is required.
NVQ in Heating & Ventilation is required.

Responsibilities

Planned and reactive service and maintenance visits; respond to breakdowns and fault find/repair on commercial gas systems.
Cover the Yorkshire/North East region, working on commercial boilers, gas appliances and plant/mechanical equipment.

Commercial Gas Engineer required in the Yorkshire/North East region. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC solutions including commercial boilers, heating systems, mechanical plant equipment, air conditioning and chillers.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Commercial Gas Engineer - Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary up to £50,000 DOE
Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
Overtime paid at 1.5x
40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
Pension
22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

The Commercial Gas Engineer must hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and be able to cover the region for the clients listed above with day-to-day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits as well as responding to breakdowns, performing fault finding tasks and carrying out repairs to Commercial Boilers, Commercial Gas appliances, General Plant Room/Mechanical equipment.
