Job summary

PRS in Manchester is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover mobile contracts across the North West. You will manage servicing and fault finding on commercial gas/heating plant, while supporting mechanical systems in healthcare, education and retail sites.

The role requires a qualified heating engineer (Commercial ACS preferred), DBS disclosure, and a valid driving license. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, including boilers, burners, pumps, valves and HVAC equipment on

Qualifications

• Qualified heating engineer with Commercial ACS ideally.
• Experience of service and maintenance operations across mobile contracts.
• DBS check and valid driving license required.
• Able to carry out general mechanical plant room maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide heating and gas engineering support to commercial sites.
• Complete PPM and reactive maintenance to boilers, burners, pumps, valves, gas feeds, hot water systems, and HVAC plant.
• Perform fault finding on occupied sites and assist with compliance.
• Maintain AHU and fan coil units and general building services.

Position: Commercial Gas Engineer

Type: Permament

Location: Manchester / North West mobile

Salary: up to £48,000 basic, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week plus OT and on-call

We are recruiting for heating / gas engineer with Commercial ACS to work on a mobile basis across the North West area completing PPM and reactive maintenance, servicing and fault finding and boiler/heating plant in multiple commercial portfolios. Also top assist in general mechanical plant room and compliance. The role is a permanent position

Commercial Gas Engineer description:

• provide heating and gas engineering support to commercial, healthcare, educational and retail sites
• complete PPM and reactive maintenance to: boilers, burners, pumps and valves, gas feeds, hot water systems, water flow and return, venting, heating controllers, wet plumbing including radiators, pipework, tanks and cylinders flow and return etc...plus some HVAC plant and general building services maintenance.
• The boilers will cover Commercial and domestic systems
• complete service and fault finding on occupied sites
• AHU and fan coil general maintenance

Gas Engineer Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Heating Engineer ideally Commercial ACS
• Experience of service and maintenance operations across mobile contracts
• Be able to complete a DBS etc.
• Valid driving license
• Able to complete general mechanical plant room maintenance
