Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our Midlands-based team on a permanent basis. The role covers service, maintenance and installation across FM contracts and projects valued from £500 up to £1m, with national travel and majority work in the Midlands.

You will mentor an apprentice and work to share knowledge, ensuring compliance and high standards. Commute to the Midlands area is expected, with flexibility to travel as required.

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities management provider for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team, covering service, maintenance and installation work across a range of FM contracts and projects valued from £500 up to £1 million.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of day-to-day maintenance and larger project work, with the opportunity to travel nationally — although the majority of work will be based around the Midlands, so you'll need to be commutable to the region.

You'll also play a key role in developing the team, taking responsibility for mentoring an apprentice, so strong communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service, maintenance and installation of commercial gas systems
• Working across FM contracts and projects ranging from £500 to £1m
• Travelling nationally as required, with most work based in the Midlands
• Mentoring and supporting an apprentice

What We're Looking For
