Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to service a range of commercial buildings across the West Midlands. You will perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on gas systems, working independently to maintain high standards of service.

We offer a competitive salary, company van and fuel card, 40-hour weeks, an on-call rota, 25 days leave plus holidays, sick pay after 12 months, health cover, pension and training opportunities to support career progression.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications required: COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1/CDGA1, ICPN1, CPA1, BMP1 and CCP1.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance.
• Ability to work across multiple sites independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial heating and boiler systems.
• Undertake servicing, inspections and gas safety checks.
• Ensure all work complies with current legislation and health and safety regulations.
• Complete job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with clients and site teams to minimize disruption.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - West Midlands - National Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well established facilities management business, covering sites across the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and servicing across a range of commercial buildings.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial gas maintenance, with the ability to work independently and deliver a high standard of service.

Package

• Competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience


• Company van and fuel card supplied


• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


• Out of hours on call rota


• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays with additional annual leave after long service

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Essential gas qualifications: COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1/CDGA1, ICPN1, CPA1, BMP1 and CCP1 (CCN1 and CENWAT are beneficial)


• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within a facilities management or building services environment


• Full UK driving licence


• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on commercial gas systems


• Ability to work independently across multiple sites


• Good communication and customer service skills
