Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd recruits an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover sites across the West Midlands for a national facilities management organisation. You will perform PPM, repairs and servicing on commercial gas systems, working independently with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role offers a competitive salary (£40,000–£45,000), company van and fuel card, and a 40-hour week with an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Essential gas qualifications are listed above (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1/CDGA1, ICPN1, CPA1, BMP1, CCP1).
• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within facilities management or building services.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial heating and boiler systems.
• Undertake servicing, inspections and gas safety checks.

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - West Midlands - National Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well established facilities management business, covering sites across the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and servicing across a range of commercial buildings.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial gas maintenance, with the ability to work independently and deliver a high standard of service.

Package

• Competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Out of hours on call rota

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial heating and boiler systems
• Undertake servicing, inspections and gas safety checks
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current legislation and health and safety regulations
• Complete job sheets, maintenance reports and compliance documentation
• Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure minimal disruption
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota

Requirements

• Essential gas qualifications: COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1/CDGA1, ICPN1, CPA1, BMP1 and CCP1 (CCN1 and CENWAT are beneficial)
• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within a facilities management or building services environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on commercial gas systems
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Good communication and customer service skills
