Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join a growing M&E and Facilities Management contractor. This permanent role covers a range of commercial sites across the Midlands and North West, including education, infrastructure, public sector, and secure environments.

You will service and maintain commercial gas and oil-fired heating systems, fault find on boilers and pumps, and complete compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (Non-Domestic ACS).
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems.
• Experience working on commercial LPG, dual fuel, gas, and oil-fired equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Experience using tablet-based CAFM systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• OFTEC qualifications and electrical qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
• Servicing and maintaining commercial gas and oil-fired heating systems
• Fault finding and repairing boilers, pumps, AHUs, and associated HVAC equipment
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Completing compliance documentation and statutory reports in line with current regulations
• Working across a variety of commercial and public sector sites
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required
