Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our facilities management team. You will conduct PPM, installations, gas testing and reactive maintenance on commercial gas-fired heating equipment across a portfolio of properties.

The role requires ACS commercial gas certifications, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs.

Qualifications

• ACS Commercial Gas certifications required (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A).
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Disclosure checks will be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PPM, installations, gas testing, and reactive maintenance on commercial gas-fired and heating appliances.

• Provide responsive maintenance support across a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Self-deliver smaller installations when required.

Commercial Gas Engineer – Glasgow – Up to £47,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our facilities management team in Glasgow.

• Conduct PPM, installations, gas testing, and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial gas-fired and heating appliances, including boilers, burners, and hot water systems.


• Diagnose faults and failures within gas systems, ensuring timely repairs by ordering and fitting necessary parts.


• Provide responsive maintenance support across a portfolio of commercial properties.


• Self-deliver smaller installations when required.


• Maintain high standards of customer service, building strong client relationships.


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £47,000 DOE


• 30 days holiday (including public holidays)


• 39-hour work week: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:30


• Overtime available and paid accordingly
