Job summary

Underdog Recruitment Limited in Southampton is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to service, maintain and diagnose commercial heating systems across care homes, offices and leisure venues.

You’ll work regionally within a 2-hour travel radius of Southampton, with opportunities to progress into more senior or specialist roles and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in service, breakdown and diagnostics.
• Solid grasp of boilers, valves, pumps and controls.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

They’ve got big growth plans, building a strong name in the commercial HVAC sector, and now looking to for a Commercial Gas Engineer who knows their way around plant rooms, fault-finding, and keeping heating systems running well.

What you’ll be working on:

Service, maintenance and reactive works

Commercial plant rooms and heating systems

Boiler diagnostics, repairs and upgrades

Some light install work where needed

Work mostly in care homes, offices, and leisure settings

Regional patch – travel within 2hrs of Southampton

You’ll be a good fit if:

• You’ve been around commercial systems and know how to keep them running.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in service, breakdown and diagnostics

A solid grasp of boilers, valves, pumps and controls

Full UK driving licence
