Commercial Gas Engineer
Permanent
GBP40000 to GBP45000 per annum

Based from Manchester (nationwide travel)

Time Recruitment is looking for an experienced commercial gas engineer to work for one of our prestigious facilities management companies based in Manchester. The role will be based in Manchester, but the successful candidate must be willing to travel across England (mainly the North) and be comfortable with occasional overnight stays. A fuel card will be provided for all travel. This role involves working in care homes, dental surgeries, GP practices, and schools, so an enhanced DBS check will be necessary. The successful candidate must have previous experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances. Responsibilities include:

• Installation - setting up gas appliances and systems, including pipework
• Maintenance of existing installations
• Repairing faults in gas appliances and systems, including leaks and safety issues
• Developing and maintaining gas safety plans and systems
• Scheduling return visits
• Conducting gas safety inspections
• Completing relevant gas safety documentation
• Working with pipework
• Adhering to all safety requirements when onsite

The ideal candidate must:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Have previous experience working in commercial environments
• Be reliable and compliant with safety standards
• Possess a CSCS Card
• Hold relevant gas safety qualifications
