Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our Kent-based client’s team. You will cover the region delivering planned and reactive maintenance on commercial boilers and gas appliances, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role offers a basic salary of £50,000–£55,000 DOE, a company van with optional personal use, pension, 22 days holidays (plus BH) and an on-call allowance.

Qualifications

Hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and cover Kent region for service and maintenance.
NVQ in Heating & Ventilation required.
Full UK driving licence and Kent residency.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive servicing of commercial boilers and gas appliances.
Perform fault finding and repairs and respond to breakdowns.
Travel within Kent and work with clients across locations.

Commercial Gas Engineer required in Kent. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC solutions including commercial boilers, heating systems, mechanical plant equipment, air conditioning and chillers.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Commercial Gas Engineer - Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary £50,000 - £55,000 DOE
Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
Overtime
40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
Pension
22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

The Commercial Gas Engineer must hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and be able to cover the region for the clients listed above with day-to-day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits as well as responding to breakdowns, performing fault finding tasks and carrying out repairs to Commercial Boilers, Commercial Gas appliances, General Plant Room/Mechanical equipment.
