Job summary

Omega is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team on a leading supermarket contract. The role involves servicing and maintaining HVAC assets, responding to alarms, completing required paperwork, and ensuring operations comply with health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will hold Commercial Gas qualifications with at least four of the specified certs and have experience with gas-fired heating, boilers, pumps, and chillers.

Qualifications

• Hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1)
• 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)
• Unvented Water Heaters – HWSS Hot Water Systems & Safety (G3) – Essential

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service call/alarm requests from the Helpdesk and assess requirements to carry out repairs within agreed timescales
• Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including air handling units, gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pumps, boilers, pumps and chillers
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager with replacement recommendations
• Complete paperwork and follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies

My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

• Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.
• Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
• To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.
• All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies
