Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to support a major UK supermarket contract. The role is a mobile position covering retail sites, performing planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating, AHUs, FCUs and other mechanical plant.

The ideal candidate will have relevant commercial gas qualifications, strong fault-finding skills and a proven track record with boilers and heating systems.

Qualifications

• Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer.
• Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Experience with commercial boilers and mechanical plant.
• Facilities Management or mobile maintenance experience is beneficial.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to work across multiple sites in the Birmingham area.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Working on mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans.
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment.
• Completing minor alterations and installations within your technical competence.
• Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending suitable replacement equipment.
• Ordering parts and spares when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and company procedures.

Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £48k

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a major UK supermarket contract in the Birmingham area.

This is a mobile role covering a number of retail sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating, mechanical and HVAC equipment.

The Role

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems
• Working on mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment
