Job summary

Old Mill in Yeovil is seeking an FP&A Manager to join our finance team. This Yeovil-based hybrid role blends time in the office with working from home, and you’ll work closely with our CFO and service line leaders.

You’ll cover budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis, and business partnering, with involvement in scenario planning, business cases and acquisition activity. You will translate financial data into insights that drive commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Good finance background with FP&A or commercial finance experience.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Experience translating financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.
• Build and develop financial models to aid planning.
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast with clear commentary.
• Collaborate with service line leaders on revenue, WIP, margins, profitability.
• Analyse utilisation, chargeability and capacity for resource planning.
• Maintain cashflow forecasts and monitor debtors and WIP conversion.
• Produce monthly management information with key KPIs and risks.
• Review sales pipeline data for realistic revenue forecasts.
• Support CFO and wider business with analysis and reporting.
• Assist with scenario planning, business cases and acquisitions.
