Job summary

RecruitEasy are seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join our client near Newton Abbot, Devon. The role involves laying commercial flooring to a high standard, floor preparation including smoothing, levelling and subfloor preparation, and measuring, cutting and fitting flooring to a high standard.

Start date is 17 August 2026. Pay is £18.00 - £25.00 per hour, paid weekly. CSCS card not essential; you should be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer or Flooring Installer.
• Ability to work independently and produce quality workmanship.
• Good knowledge of flooring installation techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Laying commercial flooring to a high standard.
• Floor preparation including smoothing, levelling and subfloor preparation.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring to a high standard.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to client specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
