Job summary

RecruitEasy is seeking an experienced CSCS Floor Layer for a client project in Barnstaple, Devon. The role is temporary with an immediate start on 24 August 2026. You will lay and fit vinyl flooring to a high standard, measure and cut materials, and ensure safe site practices and a tidy work area.

Applicants should hold a valid CSCS card, have vinyl flooring installation experience, and preferably bring their own tools. Pay is up to £220 per day, paid weekly, with no umbrella arrangements.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required for site access.
• Experience installing vinyl flooring to high standards.
• Own tools preferred (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lay and fit vinyl flooring to a high standard.
• Complete flooring works in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Measure, cut and install vinyl flooring as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and liaise with site management.

Start Date: 24-08-2026

Pay Rate: Up To £220.00 Per Day - paid weekly!

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.

We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!

Job Roles:

• Lay and fit vinyl flooring to a high standard


• Complete flooring works in, bathrooms and kitchen areas


• Measure, cut, and install vinyl flooring as required


• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements


• Maintain a clean and tidy working area


• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines


• Liaise with site management where necessary

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card


• Previous vinyl flooring installation experience


• Own tools preferred
