Job summary

GVR Building Services are recruiting an experienced Floor Layer for an upcoming Heathrow Airport project. You will carry out commercial floor laying works, prepare floors, measure and fit flooring to drawings and specifications, and maintain high finishing standards on a busy site.

Applicants should have proven floor-laying experience, a valid CSCS card, and own tools with PPE. DBS checks and 5-year employment history are required for Heathrow roles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer.
• Commercial flooring experience.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out commercial floor laying works.
• Preparing floors and subfloors prior to installation.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately.
• Installing flooring to drawings and project specifications.
• Completing finishing works to a high standard.
• Working alongside other trades and site teams.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all site and airport Health & Safety procedures.
