Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment is partnering with a Leicestershire-based distribution business to hire a commercially minded Financial Accountant. You will own key accounting activities and work with senior leadership to shape processes and drive financial performance.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, ownership of customer and supplier finance processes, and a clear path toward a Financial Controller role in a fast-growing environment.

Formación

• ACA/ACCA qualification and 2+ years post-qualified experience.
• Strong financial accounting experience in a mid-sized, fast-paced business.
• Proficient ERP systems knowledge and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce management accounts with detailed commentary and analysis.
• Manage cashflow and support working capital planning.
• Own VAT compliance and reporting processes.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
• Be the ERP systems expert for the finance team.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and assist with budgets.
