Alexander Daniels Limited partnered with a growing business to recruit an Assistant Accountant in Coventry. The role is full-time and office-based, reporting to the Finance Manager, with exposure to a major transformation programme including an ERP implementation.

You will handle P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and support year-end audits while driving improvements in processes and controls.

Formación

• Experience in management accounting or assistant accountant roles.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliations experience.
• Excellent Excel and large data set handling.
• Experience in a multi-site environment preferred.
• Effective communication across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Account for and analyze various P&L lines.
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations; review trade receivables and payables.
• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting.
• Develop and improve finance processes and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to automate using AI and technology.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare KPI dashboards and management reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to stakeholders.
• Present key financial reports to management.
• Assist non-finance managers in understanding business performance.
