Job summary

Keane Recruitment partners with a well-established organisation to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager in a permanent, broad, and commercially focused role. You will own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and decision support, partnering with senior stakeholders to influence planning and performance.

The role blends financial planning with performance analysis and scenario modelling, enabling you to shape strategic decisions and drive commercial outcomes across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent.
• Post-qualified experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial-planning experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills.
• Experience producing analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with the ability to challenge assumptions and communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning activities.
• Produce clear analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
• Build financial models, scenarios and business cases for commercial opportunities.
• Explain variances and drivers to non-finance audiences.
• Provide insight into costs, headcount and wider business performance.
• Prepare concise reporting and presentations for senior audiences.
• Improve models, reporting and processes across commercial finance.
• Support wider strategic and ad-hoc finance projects.
