Tate Recruitment is seeking a commercially focused Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing business and drive profitability, performance and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide financial insight, challenge, and analysis to support growth, improve margins, optimise cash flow, and enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial finance or finance business partnering.
• Proven ability to analyse financial performance and provide actionable commercial insight.
• Strong forecasting, modelling, and cash flow management skills.
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and Excel skills.
• Exposure to pricing, profitability analysis, and commercial decision support.
• Experience in a high-growth or scaling environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, board reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Analyse revenue, gross profit, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial modelling.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, efficiency, and profitability.
• Monitor working capital, debtor performance, and cash generation.
• Support pricing decisions, business cases, and investment analysis.
• Ensure financial controls, VAT compliance, audit readiness, and statutory reporting.
• Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and finance system enhancements.
