Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial, pricing, trading, or revenue role within a travel business.
  • Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with tour operator systems like Tigerbay is advantageous.

Commercial Executive

Location: Borehamwood / Hybrid (2 days a week in the Office)

Contract: Permanent - Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Dependant on Experience

About the Role:

We’re looking for a commercially aware, data-savvy professional to join our team as a Commercial Executive. This newly created role supports both the Revenue Lead and Pricing Analyst, sitting at the heart of our commercial trading function.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience from a similar role within a tour operator or travel business, and will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You’ll use your Excel skills, pricing knowledge, and proactive approach to help us maximise yield, ensure pricing accuracy, and drive revenue performance across our UK and overseas product range.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Revenue & Yield Support

- Analyse occupancy, booking pace, and pricing

- Monitor room allocations and waitlists to ensure commercial protection.
- Produce and maintain daily and weekly trading reports in collaboration with the commercial team.

2. Pricing & Costing Analysis

- Support the build and validation of pricing models
- Collaborate with the Pricing Analyst

- Identify anomalies or inconsistencies in costings and propose corrective actions.

3. Campaign Planning & Execution

- Support the loading and proofing of promotional offers and campaign rates.
- Ensure all promotional pricing aligns with margin targets and is accurately reflected in customer-facing systems

4. Commercial Insight & Projects

- Use data to identify trading opportunities or underperformance and flag

- Proactively suggest and help implement process improvements, pricing tests, or automation ideas.

5. System Ownership & Maintenance

- Act as a key user of Tigerbay for pricing, inventory, and product data.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across pricing and inventory-related data sources.

We would love to hear from you if you have these essential skills and experience:

- Previous experience in a commercial, pricing, trading or revenue role within a tour operator or travel business
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, IFs, etc); confident handling and interpreting data.
- Familiarity with tour operator systems – experience using Tigerbay is a strong advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working with margin-sensitive data.
