Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Estimator for commercial projects and preconstruction estimating across our active portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic. The role focuses on takeoffs, bid analysis, and subcontractor pricing to deliver accurate project estimates and competitive bids.

You will leverage Bluebeam and PROCORE, read blueprints, collaborate with project management, and help prepare budgets and cost reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in project estimation, bidding and construction management.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and PROCORE for takeoffs and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of project costs, including labor, materials, equipment and time requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
• Conduct thorough material take offs (MTO) to determine project requirements.
• Leverage expertise in commercial construction and blueprint reading to deliver high-quality project estimations.
• Utilize Bluebeam and PROCORE to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in negotiation with clients and suppliers to secure profitable contracts.
• Collaborate with construction management to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
• Monitor industry trends to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in preparation of project budgets and financial reports.
