The role involves liaising with design teams, clients, and consultants, using Causeway Estimating software, managing risk, and ensuring budgets are aligned with project goals while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Competent Quantity Surveying background with a track record in pre-contract cost planning.
• Strong ability to read specifications and drawings to form robust estimates.
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Determining total cost of subcontractors, materials, equipment, utilities, and labour.
• Leading financial aspects within the pre-contract stage.
• Preparing estimates for planning, organising, and scheduling work.
• Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
• Engaging with supply chain to ensure robust, buildable, cost-effective solutions.
• Regularly reporting to management and updating clients on status.
• Lead handover from estimating to contract and procure quantities.
• Collaborating with design teams and attending client/consultant meetings.
