Job summary

Metro Rod Deeside & North Wales is seeking a Drainage Engineer to work across commercial sites delivering reactive drainage, planned maintenance and remedial works. You will investigate blockages, carry out jetting and CCTV surveys, and diagnose faults with a broad skill set.

The role requires experience in high-pressure jetting and CCTV surveying, a full UK driving licence, and a flexible, problem-solving mindset. A van, training and on-call duties are provided.

Qualifications

• High pressure water jetting experience.
• CCTV surveying experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial drainage.
• Experience using electro-mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
• Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
• Be willing to work some unsociable hours.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of drainage cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance tasks.
• Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment with safety standards.
• Carrying out CCTV surveys.
• Providing an exceptional level of customer service and technical expertise.
• Accurately recording work details in internal/client systems.
• Communicating effectively with clients and support centre colleagues.
• Participating in an on-call rota to service clients 24/7/365.
