Job summary

Metro Rod Deeside & North Wales is seeking a Drainage Engineer to deliver reactive drainage services, planned maintenance and specialist remedial works across commercial sites.

You’ll investigate blockages with electro‑mechanical cleaning equipment, carry out CCTV surveys and provide high‑quality customer service and technical expertise. A full UK driving licence is required and there is an on‑call rota as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial drainage
• High pressure jetting experience and CCTV surveying
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment
• Carry out CCTV surveys
• Record work details in internal systems
• Communicate with clients and support centre to ensure service quality
• Be available for on-call rota 24/7/365
