Job summary

QA is seeking a Commercial and Insights Analyst to sit within the Finance team in Leeds. The role supports the Head of Commercial with pricing and insight activities, analysing sales impact and product performance to inform the commercial plan.

You will manage pricing data, run Excel models for decisions and review market data to spot opportunities. Strong stakeholder management and advanced Excel skills are essential for timely reporting and MI delivery.

Qualifications

Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas.
Understanding of how pricing, discounting, and margins impact business performance.
Experience building and refining PowerBI and Excel reports.

Responsibilities

Ongoing management of the pricing and cost data, that drives colleague systems.
Management of Excel models used for commercial decisions.
Review market and competitor data to help identify new opportunities or inform positioning.
Provide Insights into new product launches, and existing product performance to aid commercial decisions.
Support senior managers with timely and accurate reporting, including regular and one-off requests, on, but not limited to, vendor performance.
Support the Head of Commercial with bespoke pricing requests, new product launches and ongoing MI of performance.
