Job summary

Profectus Recruitment in Reading is seeking aCommercial Analyst to join its Commercial Finance team on a hybrid, permanent basis. The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling ability to support bids, tenders and new business cases.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, Account Management and Business Development, maintaining complex models and delivering commercial insight across long-term contracts and opportunities.

Commercial Analyst

We’re working with an established organisation that is looking for an experiencedCommercial Analystto join its Commercial Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded analyst withAdvanced Excel and financial modelling experienceto play a key role in supporting business growth and decision-making.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Account Management and Business Development, maintaining and developing complex Excel-based models and providing commercial insight across long-term contracts and new business opportunities.

• Experience supporting bids, tenders or business cases
• Commercial awareness across pricing, margins and profitability
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with and challenging stakeholders
• A structured, methodical approach
• Degree-level education

This is a commercial role rather than an accountancy position, so an accountancy qualification is not required.

The role is based inReading, with a minimum requirement of 3–4 days per week in the office. AnEnhanced DBSwill be required.
