Job summary

Stockport Nub News is recruiting a Commercial Coordinator to join its Estimating team in Stockport. This permanent role involves liaising between suppliers and the sales team, pricing products, and ensuring margins and timely responses to customer requests.

You will build supplier relationships, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support buying, sourcing and purchasing activity. The role suits someone with Buying, Procurement, Sourcing or Commercial experience or a recent graduate with

Qualifications

• Experience in Buying, Procurement, Sourcing or Commercial roles is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how businesses operate.
• Confident negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Liaising between suppliers and the Sales team to meet customer requirements.
• Pricing products and responding to customer requests within agreed margins and timescales.
• Reviewing selling prices to stay competitive in the marketplace.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Negotiating with suppliers, including fixed-price periods.
• Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities.
• Supporting buying, sourcing and purchasing activity.
• Creating processes to calculate costs and margins and maintaining data across systems.
• Producing and updating product review schedules and coordinating with Estimating and Sales.
