Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is helping a growing Winsford business to recruit a Commercial Assistant. You will support the Commercial team with tender pricing, costing and quotations for new business in a busy environment. The role requires numeracy, excellent attention to detail and strong Excel skills.

You will review drawings, perform take-offs and collaborate with the Commercial Manager to ensure timely, accurate pricing. A competitive salary plus pension, holidays and on-site parking are offered.

Qualifications

• Numerate, well organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience estimating, costing or pricing in a commercial role.
• Experience with drawing/take-off software is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident communication and administration skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and price tenders and quotations for new business.
• Review drawings and scaled plans to establish measurements.
• Complete quantity and material take-offs.
• Prepare detailed pricing information using Excel.
• Support preparation of customer quotations.
• Work with the Commercial Manager and team.
• Ensure pricing and documents are accurate and timely.
