Join our BB Kilpatrick team as a Commercial Contracts Manager on our Sizewell alliance and you'll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you!

We are open to base location for this role however the successful candidate will need to be at our Aztec West, Bristol office a minimum of once a week.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the development & refinement of SZC's Company Acquisition Plan in relation to MEH services and equipment
  • Regular & pro-active liaison & support to SZC and MEH customers and stakeholders
  • Development and execution of procurement strategies
  • Leading the ITT (Invitation to Tender) process for a wide variety of services and equipment
  • Developing long term Contracting strategies
  • Maintain market understanding & due diligence
  • To develop, implement and maintain appropriate performance measures for the contracts
  • To follow the agreed Procurement processes and procedures at all times
  • Devising and implementing appropriate supplier development strategies
  • Devising and implementing supplier quality improvement programmes, cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives with the supply chain
  • Working closely with the other Supply Chain teams to set and drive metric performance measures with suppliers for continuous performance monitoring.
  • To develop strategies that incentivise suppliers to deliver performance objectives.
  • To understand and mitigate supply market risks.
  • To be accountable for the MEH Supply Chain Lead for delivery of business plan targets
  • To be accountable for the training & development of themselves on Procurement related issues

Who we're looking for

  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Relevant experience within a similar procurement role
  • Detailed working knowledge of the Procurement and Contract Management.
  • Ability to promote effective teamwork by personally acting as a mentor & role model
  • Able to gain a high level security clearance
