Our client, the Owner, is a leading European Utility Company based in Czech Republic, pursuing an exciting Nuclear New Build Programme. The first phase of the Programme (first unit with an option for a second unit) is currently at the main delivery party bid evaluation stage, with negotiations soon to commence. Arcadis seeks highly experienced, technically capable, and competent individuals who are motivated and possess exemplary interpersonal and stakeholder skills. The core focus is to assist and support the Owner team through a rigorous Tender Evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, and award process, and subsequently support the successful delivery of this large new build mega project.

Arcadis is looking for flexible, dynamic individuals, ideally based in Prague until at least March, with potential for beyond. Candidates willing to travel more frequently may also be considered. Some roles may be UK-based with travel to/from Owner offices as required, supporting this highly challenging, interesting, and potentially rewarding project.

Arcadis seeks expert, senior, and mid-level Commercial/Contract Managers with recognized expertise in pre- and post-contract Commercial Management, with the following desirable criteria:

Qualifications & Experience:

Basic requirements:

  • University Degree in a relevant discipline/subject and/or proven relevant experience in the field
  • Approximately 10 years of experience within the Energy sector
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in Nuclear (including New Nuclear Build, Waste, Decommissioning)
  • Experience on at least 2 reference projects within the Energy or Nuclear field
  • Native English or C1 level (written & spoken)

Candidates will ideally possess characteristics such as:

  • Exemplary interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in Nuclear Power Plant tendering and contracting across various contract forms, including large EPC. Conventional and/or Nuclear experience is considered, but Nuclear New Build or wider Nuclear experience is preferred.
  • Experience across the full lifecycle of contracts, including negotiation of contracts on mega project tenders.
