Job Description:

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR team as Policy and Contracts Adviser. Working closely with the HR Employee Relations Manager, the HR Business Partners, and the HR Services team to provide proactive and commercial HR advice and guidance to the business to assist them in delivering their overall business strategy. The role will be based in London with potential travel to other offices as required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and develop trusted relationships across the business at various levels through collaboration, gaining credibility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices.
  • Support HR Business Partners with employee relations cases requiring policy or contractual guidance, escalating as needed.
  • Lead or participate in projects like policy reviews, Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Whistleblowing, etc.
  • Support the wider HR Leadership Team as required.
  • Assist with leave of absence queries, changes to terms and conditions, flexible working requests, etc.
  • Compile and analyze HR Management Information for updates and reporting.
  • Respond to queries from the HR Services team.
  • Create and review organizational policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze policies for improvements and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and ensure contract terms are favorable and legally sound.
  • Oversee contract execution and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Work with legal, procurement, and finance departments on contract development and management.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance.
  • Report on contract status, performance, and policy compliance.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting policies and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR developments.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong systems and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • CIPD or equivalent professional qualification.
